Los Angeles: A 43-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when her car crashed into a concrete bridge abutment.
On
July 24, 2012, around 9:40 a.m., Jennifer Denise Jalsevac, a resident
of Burbank, was driving a 1989 Mercedes Benz in the 1700 block of North
Spring Street. Her vehicle suddenly ran off of the roadway and collided
into the base of a concrete bridge.
Jalsevac sustained major
injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire
Department personnel. She did not respond to medical treatment and was
pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
Investigators believe
that alcohol may have been a factor in this deadly collision and want to
remind the motoring public not to drink and drive.
