Los Angeles:
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Harbor Division Robbery Detectives
are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect whose
images were captured on surveillance video committing a robbery at
business in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles.
On August 23, 2012, around 8:50 a.m., a man entered a business located
in the 1100 block of Avalon Boulevard and robbed the store employee,
using a knife. The suspect took cash from the register and from the
employee. The suspect stabbed the employee when the employee attempted
to stop him then ran away from the scene.
The suspect may have of committed five additional robberies in the Wilmington Area.
The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic male. He
stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing
a black baseball cap, gray sweatshirt and black pants.
